Transition from Thomson Reuters Practice CS to Firm Flow for Project Management

  • 1.  Transition from Thomson Reuters Practice CS to Firm Flow for Project Management

    Posted 11-20-2024 03:53 PM

Our firm is in the process of transitioning Project Management from TR Practice CS to TR Firm Flow. We have all of our Tax Projects setup in Firm Flow at this point. However, we have concerns about moving away from Project Management in PCS for the following reasons:

    1. Practice CS time and billing does not integrate with Firm Flow. Therefore, we are concerned about losing time and billing reports that can be processed using Projects. Our projects indicate what type of work is being done, along with billable hours and dollars. Our engagement and activity codes are generic.
    2. Our current Practice CS projects are setup to auto populate engagement and activity codes to alleviate timesheet entry errors. The project descriptions also facilitate the billing process for our partners.

Has anyone else gone thru this transition that could offer some suggestions regarding theses issues? If so, please email me at belinda@wmddh.com.

    Thanks so much!
